For the second time, we miss this huge musical sensation's presence right here in our country. On the bright side though, at-least this time it's not as painful as it was the last time he travelled passed right through us to perform in another country. When Rick Ross was headed over to South Africa for his performance, he stopped by Kenya and even tweeted about how much he enjoyed the food that KQ had to offer.
This time, Rozay is once again moving right passed us, on his way to give an electrifying, unforgettable, big time performance in Tanzania. Yes, Tanzania. May I remind you that these guys also got Jay Z to perform for them a few years back.
What is it with our promoters and event organisers? I don't mean to be so bitter about this but as a fan, I am really offended that Kenya cannot get these guys here yet our next door neighbour Tanzania can... Seriously? Before the promoters claimed that the artists didnt want to come to Africa. And they would give a myriad of reasons (low turnouts, insecurity, low sales) But it seems quite clear the artists themselves are willing to perform in Africa. So why are they skipping over us, over and over again?
I bet, he will still visit Kenya either before or after the show in TZ, just for fun. How sad... for us! (Maybe he will give some lucky fans a couple impromptu bars at the airport, then we can now say he has performed in Kenya...)
