THE 5^TH RUAHA UNIVERSITY COLLEGE GRADUATION CEREMONY SPECIAL INFORMATION TO GRADUANDS

All successful candidates of RuahaUniversityCollegefor the award of Certificates, Diplomas, Degrees and Master’s Degrees in the respective Faculties, Institutes and Directorates are here by informed that the GRADUATION CEREMONY for the academic year 2011/2012 will take place on Friday  30^th  November, 2012 as follows:

1. Venue: Open Space opposite HALL C and the NewLibraryBuilding
2. Date: 30^th November, 2012
3. Time: 9.00am to 5.00pm.

Graduands to participate in the Graduation Ceremony should write to confirm their participation to:

The letter should reach the concerned office not later than 23^rd November, 2012.

HIRE OF GRADUATION GOWNS:

Those wishing to hire graduation gowns will have to collect and fill in graduation gown hire forms to be collected from the Procurement Officer on production of an original bank pay in slip of non-refundable hire fee of Tshs. 25,000/=.  These graduation gowns shall be collected at least two (2) days before the graduation date and returned within three(3) days after the graduation day.

All payments shall have to be made with the CRDB Bank Iringa Branch Acc. No. 01J2071042600 OR TANZANIA POSTAL BANK A/C No. 020-0000271

The graduation gowns will be issued as per the following schedule:

1. 1.     FACULTY OF ICT: 27^TH NOVEMBER, 2012 FROM 9.00 AM TO 12.00 NOON
2. 2.     INSTITUTE OF ALLIED HEALTH SCIENCES: 27^TH-28^TH NOVEMBER, 2012 FROM 2.00 PM TO 5.00PM
3. 3.     FACULTY OF LAW: 28^TH NOVEMBER, 2012 FROM 9.00 AM TO 5.00 PM
4. 4.     FACULTY OF ARTS AND SOCIAL SCIENCES: 29^TH NOVEMBER, 2012 FROM 9.00 AM  TO 12:00 NOON.
5. 5.     FACULTY OF BUSINESS AND MANAGEMENT SCIENCES 29^TH NOVEMBER, 2012 FROM 2:00 PM TO 6:00 PM.

NOTE: Graduands have to note that NO graduation gowns will be issued after 29^th November, 2012. Graduands to take part in the graduation ceremony will have to attend a COMPULSORY REHEARSAL on THURSDAY 29^TH NOVEMBER, 2012 at 2.00 pm at the venue of the graduation. Any graduand who will not participate in the rehearsal will NOT BE ALLOWED to take part in the Graduation Ceremony; he /she hence forth will graduate in absentia.
