The
Open University of Tanzania Vice Chancellor, Professor Tolly Mbwette,
has earned special recognition in two international arena events, first
in "Deepening and Strengthening Relations between Kenya and Tanzania"
In recognition of services for ties
between the two countries, Professor Mbwette has been awarded a special
certificate by the Kenya High Commissioner to Tanzania, Mutinda Mutiso.
The event has been followed by another, as
the OUT Vice Chancellor starts the new year with vigor and
rejuvenation, saying he would leave no stone unturned to make the year a
testimony of additional breakthroughs in ensuring OUT makes greater
heights in academic endeavours both nationally and internationally.
As it were, the second international award
which Professor Mbwette has been awarded is a special trophy award
from a World CSR in collaboration with CMO Asia.
The former is a global corporate social
responsibility award giving organization for international links and
improvement of corporate leadership, while the latter is a corporate
marketing organization concerned with the rapidly evolving nature of
digital marketing.
